To mark the 155th anniversary of his birth and to recall his role and that of his Party in the emancipatory struggle of the workers and peoples of the whole world is a duty of remembrance, but it is above all a cause for inspiration and confidence in the present-day struggle for the revolutionary overcoming of Capitalism, against Imperialism and against war, for democracy, social progress, peace and Socialism.

On the results of the Elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira

The regional elections in Madeira held today resulted in a negative outcome for the workers and people of the Region. First and foremost, because the CDU, despite increasing the number of votes and its percentage, did not regain its parliamentary representation by 65 votes, a necessary and irreplaceable element in the Regional Legislative Assembly to make the people's problems and aspirations heard and to act to respond to them.
