A NATO Summit will be held in London on December 3 and 4, to mark the 70th. anniversary of the founding of this aggressive political-military bloc, created on April 4, 1949, and whose nature was from the outsell patent with the inclusion of Salazar's fascist dictatorship as one of its founding members.

The Central Committee of the PCP, meeting on November 23 and 24, 2019, analysed the international situation, the national situation and its evolution, the development of the workers’ and peoples' struggle. The election results were translated in a parliamentary framework with a correlation of forces similar to the previous four-year period, despite changes in electoral expression between the political forces represented in Parliament.
The present institutional correlation of forces does correspond, however, to a distinct political context from that of 2015.

August 6th and 9th mark the 74th anniversary of the US atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which provoked death, irreparable diseases and the most horrific suffering of hundreds of thousands of human beings. By marking this date, PCP pays tribute to the victims of this monstrous imperialist crime that cannot be forgotten.
