The Central Committee of the PCP, meeting on June 5 and 6, 2022, addressed the developments in the national and international situation and the tasks of the Party. It decided to hold a National Conference of the PCP on November 12 and 13.

Today we celebrate the 77th. anniversary of the Victory over Nazi-fascism. On May 9, 1945, Nazi Germany declared its defeat in Berlin, before the Red Army and representatives of the Allies. World War II would end months later, with the defeat of Japanese militarism in early September.

The PCP reaffirms its stand of upholding the principles of the United Nations Charter and
international law and condemning a whole path of interference, violence and confrontation, the 2014 coup d'état, promoted by the US in Ukraine, which established a xenophobic and warmongering power, the recent Russian military intervention in Ukraine and the heightening of the warmongering escalation by the US, NATO and the European Union.
Government evades raising wages and pensions and regulating prices to face the rising cost of living

The PCP condemns all criminal acts, including those in the context of war, which have taken place or are taking place on the soil of Ukraine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya or other countries.
The news spread from the Ukrainian centres of power and amplified by the propaganda machine that has surrounded the war in Ukraine about the alleged “war crimes” that took place in Bucha, as well as the denials by the Russian authorities stating that this was an operation of manipulation, are not only disturbing but also require a thorough investigation.
