On the public debt

Imagine an indebted country, under unrelenting pressure, oversight and blackmail from the European institutions; a country with no monetary or exchange rate policies, and with less and less budget policy; a country where a good part of all essential or strategic companies, as well as the financial system, are controlled from abroad. That country may be formally independent, but it has extremely limited sovereignty.

On the Free Trade Agreement between EU and Canada (CETA)

The PCP values the position of the regional government and parliament of Wallonia, Belgium, of rejecting the “Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement” (CETA), a position which under the Belgian Constitution prevents its signature by the Belgian federal government, thus blocking the process aimed at the signing of this free trade and services agreement between the European Union and Canada.

National Action "Employment rights, production and sovereignty - Patriotic and Left-wing Alternative”

PCP launched on the past 29th, a National Action directed to the workers and people. This action will be accompanied by a poster and a national leaflet, and will carry out a set of initiatives among which a cycle of thematic debates addressing the issues of Social Security, Fiscal Justice, support for children and families, Precariousness, public investment and national production , and Housing.

Centennial of the October Revolution – Socialism, necessary today and for the future

The year 2017 marks the centennial of the October 1917 Socialist Revolution. The October Revolution is the major event in the historical process of emancipation of the exploited, the oppressed, the workers and the peoples, a process which has been marked by important revolutionary events from the days of primitive society, through slavery, feudalism and capitalism.
