Hiroshima and Nagasaki -To remember the nuclear crime

August 6, 1945, 8.15 AM. The United States Air Force B29 bomber “Enola Gay” launched on the “chosen” city of Hiroshima, an uranium-235 atomic bomb, named Little Boy, with a power equal to 13.000 tons of TNT, causing the immediate death of about 80.000 people and destroying around 90% of the buildings and infrastructures of a city that at the time had a population of about 300.000 people.

Israel, once again violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon, is bombing civilian targets and terrorizing the populations of Beirut and other localities, namely in the South of the country. Statement by the Working Group of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties

The Working Group for the International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties met in Lisbon, invited by the Portuguese Communist Party, on May 27, 2006. In this meeting, as in previous meetings, other Communist and Workers’ Parties that are not members of the Working Group were invited to participate.
