The Central Committee, in its meeting of May, 6th, examined the results of the preparatory debate for the National Conference on “PCP and the Local Government”, which is to meet on May 10 and 11, approved the resolution project to submit to discussion by the National Conference and that includes already the contributions resulting from the discussion in the Party organizations.<

The illegal, illegitimate and unjust war against Iraq was confirmed, through the invasion and occupation of this country by the Anglo-American armies as a serious crime against the Iraqi people, against peace, social progress in the Middle East and in the whole world and against mankind’s historical and cultural heritage.
War Summit in the Azores - Another shocking act of subservience

The holding, on national territory, this coming Sunday, of a Summit with the aim of forging the launching of a “preventive” and unilateral war by the US against Iraq, gathering Bush and his main European puppets, constitutes yet another shocking example of subservience and tagging along by the Portuguese government and its political involvement in the aggression against Iraq.
