Release from the PCP Press Office

The PCP condemns the campaign of violence in Venezuela and expresses solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution

The PCP vehemently condemns the acts of violence and vandalism perpetrated by groups of a neo-fascist nature in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which have caused the loss of life and the destruction of public property.

The PCP denounces the anti-democratic and putschist goals of yet another campaign of destabilization which is being carried out against the Bolivarian revolution by reactionary and right-wing Venezuelan forces, articulated with, and supported by, U.S. imperialism.

Highlighting that the current wave of subversive violence occurs at a time when the legitimate authorities of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela are promoting the improvement of the living standards of the Venezuelan population and are intensifying the measures against speculation and the economic war that seeks to destabilize that country, the PCP expresses its solidarity with the Venezuelan people, with President Nicolás Maduro and with the constitutional government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as with the forces of the Bolivarian revolution.
