The Arab Republic of Syria’s destiny, has been outlined, long ago, by imperialism. Syria, that is among the list of countries to “destroy”, by the USA, for years, and include, by John Bolton, in the so-called “ marginal states”, is being suffered an destabilization and aggression operation, since 2011, in the pathway and pattern of how Libya was brutally destroyed.
Promoting political stigmatization, imposing the economic blockade, launching its terrorist hoards – carrying the most reactionary fascist obscurantism and violence , responsible for the most hideous crimes against the people of Syria – by engendering a great diversity and false pretexts to intervene and even occupy militarily Syria, whilst the USA, and its accomplices, in Europe and the Middle East, desired to change this country into what the current CIA director calls the “failed state”.
Only the staunch, strong resistance of Syria and its people, supported by its allies – highlighting the Russian Federation -, has made it possible to contradict their intents.
The more imperialism, supported by a panoply of assumed or hindered accomplices, seeks to ignore the situation in the country, the true tragedy that has fallen upon the people of Syria, is a result of a USA and its allies, brutal aggression war – that counts with the connivance and support of NATO, the European Union and United Nations high leaders -, in a clear confront before international law, the people of Syria rights, including the right for peace and to decide its future, free from any interferences.
Those who consciously conjure such a reality, those who premeditate, by trying to confound aggressors with aggressed, terrorists with their victims, those who attack Syria with those who defend their country and people, are accomplices of that same aggression – alias, as the aggressions against Iraq or Libya.
To defend the people of Syria is demanding the end of the aggression war against Syria and denounce its leaders; it signifies the demand of the ending of the whitening and support to terrorist groups, the accomplishment of the UN Charter and international law, as a condition to safeguard Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity – including the ending of the illegal occupation of the Mount Golan, by Israel – and the respect for the inalienable rights of the people of Syria; it signifies to repudiate the deplorable and follower Portuguese government position and demand, the respect towards the Republic Constitution, by which Portugal ought to demark from this aggression and instead, support initiatives, in progress, towards dialogue, peace and cooperation.
The aggression, performed by the USA and its allies against Syria and its people is not but targeted to these, it is part of the wider confront and aggression escalade against all countries and peoples worldwide, that do not submit before the North-American imperialism hegemonic domain, and that fighting over with a crisis, seek to revert, at all cost, its relative decline, before a huge force rearrangement process, at world level, where China holds an important position, and to the struggle of peoples, in the defence of their sovereignty and rights.
The expression of indignation and condemnation of the USA and its allies aggression ought to be enforced. Solidarity with the resistance in Syria and its people, out to be enforced.
