Upon the atomic bombardment, in August 6th, 1945, the first USA president to visit Hiroshima refused to apologize before the people of Japan, a refusal that was cynically underlined in a vast media operation, in which Obama is presented as the champion of the struggle for a non-nuclear weapon world.
One ought to expose such a hypocrite as well as dangerous propaganda. Obama is the president of the only country in the world that has used the nuclear weapon and engaged in its improvement, the president of such a power that indulging to dominate the world , considers the nuclear weapon as a central element of its “national security” policy and threatens with its “preventive” use, a country that encircles, with its military bases , all its “strategic opponents”, as China and Russia, and has in progress the installing of missile systems, in Central Europe and South Korea, with the purpose of placing the USA safe from retaliation, when and if the nuclear war is unleashed. It is astounding that Obama presents himself and is presented by the dominant media, as a pacifist and paladin of the nuclear weapon abolishment. And because, at the same time he refuses negotiation proposals with the purpose of reducing and eliminating the currently existent colossal arsenals, the USA has the purpose not to stop the nuclear arm proliferation but the unilateral disarmament of those countries that dare resist before its imperialist submission and plunder policy, as in the Middle East, where Israel, as its spearhead, holds nuclear armament and threatens with its “preventive” use.

Obama, by eluding the USA crime, practised in Hiroshima and the holocaust class roots of its population, shamelessly accused humanity itself (“ humanity proved to hold means in order to destroy itself”). But, on the contrary, it is not “ humanity” but imperialism that, by appropriating the human genius’ achievements, does not hesitate to carry out any crime in the defence of its interests. It is important to hold this in mind, as it is very serious the USA do not recognize their troops’ crimes, during the Korea and China occupation, more and more serious is to give coverage to an escalade, in which, the most reactionary and aggressive imperialist sectors use fascism and war as the “resolve” for the crisis in which capitalism is emerged, a crisis that the G7 has just underlined by admitting that a new world recession is in the horizon. And more and more serious when Obama’s visit to Japan is inserted in the North-American imperialism offensive, in order to reinforce its positions in the Asia-Pacific region, from the Korea Peninsula (where the greatest USA-South Korea conjoint military manoeuvres took place, this year) to the South Sea ( with the purpose of taking advantage of the serious territorial disputes in order to justify a military presence in the region, more and more intense and provocative), and under the Nippon-North-American treaty and gigantic military bases within Japanese territory, such as the Okinawa base, its dismantlement being one of the main demands of the Nippon peace movement.

Within this context, the struggle for disarmament and peace defence holds a growing importance, being necessary to hand over strength and support to the wide movement in progress, by demanding the NATO dissolution, regarding the taking place of this aggressive organization summit, in July 8th and 9th next, in Warsaw.
