Release by from the PCP Press Office

Solidarity with Lula da Silva and the Brazilian people

The decision by the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) to exclude Lula da Silva as a candidate for presidential elections in Brazil is part of a political process that, under the guise of a "justice" recognizably involved in the institutional coup d'état - begun in 2016, with the dismissal of the legitimate President Dilma Rousseff - seeks to arbitrarily prevent him from being a candidate in the elections that take place on October 7.

On the Situation in Greece and the Impositions of the European Union

The attempt to present the so-called "end of the Greek bailout" as a decision favorable to the Greek workers and people is baseless.

The so-called "Financial Aid Programs" are, in fact, genuine pacts of aggression against States and peoples, instruments of a strategy of impoverishment, liquidation of rights, favoring the monopolist power and attacking national sovereignty.

Within a few seconds, tens of thousands of people were killed in an unprecedented massacre. In the following months and years, the death toll would rise to hundreds of thousands. Many others suffered terrible physical and psychological after effects, which also passed on to following generations.

Release by from the PCP Press Office

PCP condemns the Basic Law on the State of Israel

The adoption by the Israeli Parliament of the new Basic Law on the State of Israel - of a Constitutional nature - enshrines the principles of a racist and segregationist State, which denies citizenship rights to its Palestinian Arab citizens and which confirms previously existing discrimination in Israeli legislation, represents a very serious qualitative step that institutionalizes the principles of a Zionist State of apartheid.

On the European Council of 28 and 29 June
