The Foreign Affairs ministers’ statements were as much appalling as well as concerning, along with the several speeches released by NATO leaders, on the 70th anniversary of this political-military block,April 4th last.
Hypocrisy, lies and concealment level is embarrassing, having public and cynically indulged in their behavior ( and carry on ) in order to disrupt history, dissimulate the aggressive character and obscure NATO’s aggression criminal wars and their brutal and hideous consequences.
Many examples ought to be found…Not a single word on the UCK terrorists support and the aggression war against Yugoslavia, a country within Europe that rejected its NATO and European Union membership. Not a single word on the aggression war consequences against Afghanistan and the never-ending NATO presence within this Central Asia country. Not a single word on the aggression war against Iraq, that, momentarily, exposed diverse interests amid NATO, regarding this Middle East country. Not a single word on the Libya aggression war and this Northern Africa country’s destruction. Not a single word on the support to terrorist groups, the Syria aggression war and this Middle East country’s occupation. Not a single word on the huge and recurrent provocation campaigns and the despicable lie it performs. Not a single word on the illegalities’ immense list, its systematic confront towards the United Nations Charter and international law, its most violent disrespect for human rights, freedom, sovereignty, democracy. Not a single word on barbaria, on the many hundred thousand dead, the immeasurable suffering, the colossal destruction and the plunder, for which they are responsible…
They are hipocrits, they lie and conceal, making forget NATO’s responsibilities,its desire being to carry on, but instigate its bellicose and aggressive action. Therefore, they carry on wielding with terrorism threat, that they, cynically stimulate and support in an instrumental manner; developing the most shameless siege, confront and provocation against the Russian Federation, at the same time, they cynically use the counter-measures that have been necessary to adopt in order to be presented as a “threat”; the mystifying list is endless….as against Venezuela.
Marked by growing contradictions – namely those that, under capitalism structural crisis deepening and the complex rearrangement forces process, at international level evident before the USA demands concerning its interests and regarding their allies -, NATO promotes its enlargement and extension of its intervention area; developing the run to armaments; untying from important treaties and agreements that hold as a purpose the détente and disarmament; incrementing its confrontation, interference, provocation, aggression and war policy.
No mistakes. The concerning and dangerous imperialism aggressive escalade, that NATO is a major instrument, ought but cause concern and mobilize all those who are opposed to war, all who consider and believe to live in peace is a fundamental right of all peoples .
